client – Sartoria /2016 / Signage strategy | further development and design of Brand identity | Brand guidelines | Website strategy
Sartoria was once a successful dressmaking, bridal and evening wear business from the 70’s through the 90’s created by J & C Agricola. In modern day, the whole space has been transformed into a friendly, warm light filled café and eatery adorned with machinery and novelties straight from it’s dress factory days.
Studio t-bac was initially contacted to design a concept and provide a sign that would enhance the 70’s brick building. The result was a laser cut steel disc rusted back and then finished in black to reflect the original Sartoria business that utilised the premises. From here the design was finalised and branding guidelines put in place to tie the identity of the Sartoria brand together. The website was updated to accompany the feel of the Sartoria branding.
